The "Gap" in Soccer Rehab

Most soccer players are stuck in a frustrating cycle.

You want to be back on the pitch, but you’re caught in the middle ground between "no longer hurting" and "ready to play." Whether you are dealing with a recurring groin tweak or the long road of ACL recovery, the problem is usually the same:

  • Traditional PT stops too early. You are "discharged" because you can walk or run pain-free, but you haven't built the capacity to sprint, cut, or strike a ball at 100%.

  • Generic advice isn't enough. You’ve been told to "just rest it" or got a generic exercise plan that does not meet your sport demands - explosive power and multi-directional resilience.

  • The "Fear" Factor. You move with hesitation. You’re uncertain if your knee will hold up during a tackle or if your groin will snap on a long ball.

Our Elite Soccer Specialty Tracks

  • The Groin & Hip Pain

The Focus: Muscular strains, Athletic Pubalgia, Tendon-related Pain and Hip Impingement.

Our Approach: We move beyond "rest." We use targeted loading to build a strong foundation so you can change direction , strike and sprint with zero hesitation.

  • The ACL & Knee "Return-to-Pitch"

The Focus: Post-op ACL, Meniscus tears, and Patellar Tendinopathy.

Our Approach: We take your from a traditional rehab standpoint to performance by ensure appropriate healing and loading to build your capacity to your sport.

The 3-Step "Return-to-Sport" Roadmap

  • Evaluation

Through objective strength testing and advanced clinical reasoning, we identify the specific drivers of your injury. Differentiating your hip and groin pain and examining your knee, we look beyond the injury site at your global mechanics. The result is a precisely targeted plan that addresses the root cause from day one.

  • Physiological Loading (Rebuild)

Recovery is only half the battle; the other half is durability. We design a high-level strength and conditioning program tailored to your specific profile. Our goal here is to build up the capacity of tissues to tolerate load. We treat your rehab like training, preparing your body to not only return to the pitch but to stay there for the long term.

  • High-Velocity Integration (Perform)

The final bridge. We combine objective return-to-play testing with explosive movements - sprinting, striking, and 90-degree cutting. We don’t just "clear" you; we ensure you have the confidence to change direction and kick with zero limitations. You leave our turf game-ready, not just "pain-free."

Meet Your PT - Carmel Ofir

I am a Licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Michigan. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to a single mission: helping athletes and active adults reclaim their strength and outperform their previous best.

Having helped hundreds of clients navigate complex injuries, I’ve seen firsthand where traditional rehab falls short.

“My goal is to bridge the gap between clinical medicine and sport performance. By combining high-level clinical reasoning with advanced exercise physiology, I help you move beyond just ‘managing’ pain and start doing what you enjoy most with absolute confidence.”

We’re the right fit if...

  • You are tired of "Wait and See": You've been told to rest for 3 weeks, but you know the pain will return the moment you sprint or kick.

  • You want 1-on-1 attention: You are done with clinics where the PT sees two or three people at once while a tech watches you do your exercises.

  • You Value Results Over "Coverage": We are a 100% Cash-Based practice and do not participate with insurance providers. This allows us to use high-level performance tools, elite gym equipment at One Paseo, and sport-specific testing that insurance companies typically won't cover.

  • You Want to Bridge the Gap: You don’t just want to "walk without pain"; you want to strike a ball with 100% power. We see our sessions as training that goes beyond traditional rehab’.

  • You Want an Athletic Environment, Not a Medical Office: You aren’t a "patient" in a gown; you’re an athlete in training. We’ve ditched the fluorescent lights and cramped curtained rooms for a high-performance facility at One Paseo equipped with turf, racks, and the space needed to actually move.

What to expect from first session?

What’s included in your 55-minute Initial Evaluation:

  • Total Kinetic Chain Screen: We look beyond the pain to analyze your ankles, knees, and opposite hip. By looking at the whole body, we identify the hidden mechanical "Power Leaks" that are overloading your groin.

  • Sport-Specific Movement Analysis: We evaluate your mechanics during soccer-specific movements, such as cutting, decelerating, and striking, to see exactly how your body handles game-day forces.

  • Comprehensive Physical Examination: A thorough diagnostic check of muscle strength, joint mobility, and tissue health. We use objective testing to differentiate between complex issues - whether it’s ACL graft integrity, meniscus pathology, hip labral tears, or deep muscle strains.

  • First Targeted Treatment: We start the "Calm it Down" phase on Day 1. You will receive manual therapy or corrective loading right away so you leave the clinic feeling better than when you walked in.

  • The Return-to-Pitch Roadmap: You leave with a clear diagnosis, a recovery timeline, and your first custom loading program delivered via our mobile app so you can start rebuilding immediately.
