PT-Led Personal Strength Training

We help people with pain to move with confidence, work out and push their limits without letting pain hold them back.

The Painful Gray Area.

Most people with recurring pain find themselves stuck in a frustrating middle ground.

You want to stay active, but you feel uncertain or concerned about how to push your body without making things worse. You’re caught in a cycle that feels impossible to break:

  • The "Cleared but Not Ready" Trap: You finished traditional PT and the sharp pain is gone, but you don't feel like you’ve built the capacity to actually return to your sport or your gym routine.

  • The "Generic Gym" Struggle: You’ve tried boutique studios or local gyms, but the trainers don't understand your limitations. You end up modifying exercises yourself or, worse, flaring up the injury again.

  • The Mental Toll: Over time, it affects your physical and mental health. You start to move with hesitation, losing the body confidence you once had.

Don’t Let Pain Hold You Back, Keep Moving Forward.

At Carmel Physical Therapy, we specialize in the "Middle Ground." We provide PT Led Personal Training that combines clinical expertise with high-level strength and conditioning.

What Do We Help You Achieve?

1. Strength and Longevity We design safe but challenging exercise program that allow you to stay active and keep building muscle and strength while we consider your pain. We keep you moving without letting pain stop you.

2. Changes in Body Composition We replace guesswork with data. We utilize medical-grade body composition tracking to monitor changes in muscle mass and body fat percentage. This is paired with evidence-based nutritional principles to ensure your weight management supports your goals, not just the scale.

3. Post-Rehab Capacity Many people finish traditional insurance-based PT and feel "abandoned" because they aren't fully strong yet, but they aren't "injured enough" for more medical care. We provide the bridge. We transition you from 'just recovered' to 'fully capable,' ensuring the progress you made in rehab turns into permanent, functional strength under professional oversight.

We combine our background in physical therapy with strength and conditioning and exercise physiology to help people who experience pain or injury build their strength, stay active, and healthier.

We fully understand pain and injuries so we can help you get stronger and stay active without just avoiding activities or feeling like you don’t progress.

“I began working with Carmel as a personal trainer after I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. I worked with him for well over a year. I got the benefit of his PT expertise in addition to the personal training, so I knew I was in good hands. I found him to be caring, knowledgeable, and flexible. He skillfully worked with my body’s quirks and limitations to help me safely develop strength and stability, along with building my confidence. Our sessions were demanding but enjoyable; he has a great and entertaining personality. I would highly recommend Carmel Ofir to anyone who needs personal training and/or physical therapy.”

— Lesley D.

“Carmel is one of the best professionals in any field I have encountered in years. He is consistently checking in about my progress and mental health and giving me words of encouragement and trying to pin point the physical issues I am experiencing throughout our sessions. I strongly recommend taking his services if you are in need of a PT”
